Bishop Estate Vineyard and Winery

Bishop Estate Vineyard and Winery is located between Allentown and Philadelphia, in beautiful, historic Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

Our barn dates back to 1864, and our once dairy and crop farm has just been converted to a vineyard and winery. Next year, the farm will celebrate being in the Bishop Family over 100 years! We are excited that our tasting room will be located in the old bank barn in the near future. We are very proud of our wines and can’t wait for you to come and enjoy a tasting at our family property!

We have crafted sixteen wines, including dry reds, dry whites and everything in between. Full-bodied reds include: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Marquette, and our most popular Dark Bishop Cabernet Sauvignon, that has been aged in bourbon barrels, for a seriously smooth wine. Our delightful dry and off dry white wines include: Chardonnay, Dry Riesling, LaCrescent and a Gewürztraminer. Our delicious off dry and sweet reds, like our Shiraz ODA wine, Croc My World Red blend, Cowabunga Concord, will appeal to the sweeter wine drinkers. The sweet white wines, like our Simply Strawberry, Cranberries Dream, Sweet Riesling, El-if-I-know Sweet White Blend, and an apple wine, Applenoonie, will round off our menu making sure we have a delicious wine for everyone!

The Bishop Estate Vineyard and Winery name stems from our love of the game of chess. Our labels mostly have something to do with chess and you will find board games and lawn games are scattered around the property so you can enjoy them while you sip our wines and relax and unwind. Before you leave, grab a case to go so you can share with all your friends. They will love the wines, and so will you!
