Wine on the Waterfront: Jazz and Wine-tasting Experience
The first-ever â€śWine on the Waterfrontâ€ť tasting event, presented by the Bucks County Wine Trail and Visit Bucks County, will be held on Saturday, July 29 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. in Washington Crossing Historic Park, 1112 River Road in Washington Crossing.
The Wine on the Waterfront event will feature live jazz music, historical wine-making demonstrations and tastings of more than 40 varieties of wine from seven Bucks County Wine Trail member wineries: Buckingham Valley Vineyards, Crossing Vineyards, Peace Valley Winery, Rose Bank Winery, Sand Castle Winery, Unami Ridge Winery, and Wycombe Vineyards.
Food and wine (bottles and cases) will also be available for purchase. Wine may be purchased and held at designated areas until the end of the event to ensure easy delivery to customers’ vehicles.
Wine on the Waterfront tickets cost $25 per person and go on sale May 1 at wine-on-the-water.eventbrite.com. Each ticket includes a wine glass to use in enjoying wine samples.
Purchase a ticket early as quantities are limited. *No one under age 21 will be admitted to Wine on the Waterfront.
The event will be held rain or shine along the scenic banks of the Delaware River and set among the Colonial Village near the corner of River Road and Route 532. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs to relax and enjoy music while sipping award-winning wines from family-owned Bucks County wineries against this beautiful – and historical – Bucks County backdrop. Food will be available for purchase.
Wine on the Waterfront is presented by the Friends of Washington Crossing Park, the Bucks County Wine Trail, and Visit Bucks County. Proceeds will help the Friends provide educational and historical programming in the park.
